Laura will perform the winning solo flute piece at the 2025 NFA Convention by Turkish flutist/composer Basak Ersoz, “Lament and Black Sea Dance for Solo Flute.” Laura will also
play the lush Sonatine Modale for flute and clarinet with fivebyfive’s clarinetist, Marcy
Bacon, and Marc Mellits’ Discrete Structures for flute and piano with fivebyfive’s pianist,
Haeyeun Jeun.
